On Day Four of the Trump administration, national security adviser Michael Flynn lied to the FBI about the details of a secret meeting at Trump Tower with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Despite hordes of photographers in and around Trump Tower, Kislyak was never seen entering the building. We now know Kislyak was covertly brought into the building and met with Jared Kushner and Michael Flynn. The topic of that meeting was U.S. sanctions against Russia, the very same sanctions discussed in the Donald Trump Jr. meeting with the Russian lawyer, and Flynn lied to the FBI about the meeting. There is widespread speculation this single charge is part of the plea deal, one that means Flynn likely gave incriminating information on other members of the Trump administration.
